在各大高校和投资仲裁界的热切期盼中，新一届模拟国际投资仲裁深圳杯（下称“深圳杯”）即将拉开帷幕。2021年，深圳杯作为完全的资格赛事将继续热切欢迎全国（包括港澳台）高校的参与。

一、比赛简介

模拟国际投资仲裁竞赛（下称“国际投资仲裁赛”）与Philip C. Jessup国际法模拟法庭辩论赛及Willem C. Vis国际商事模拟仲裁庭比赛并称为全球三大模拟法庭竞赛。赛事分为全球赛和区域/国家赛，共用一套赛题。参赛队伍需通过区域/国家赛获得进入全球赛的资格。

深圳杯是由深圳国际仲裁院（下称“主办方”）主办的中国赛，金诚同达律师事务所作为中国区赛事协办方。比赛还将持续引入更多协办机构、支持机构，共同提升赛事影响力。作为完全的资格赛事，深圳杯是中国赛队获得全球赛入场券的唯一渠道。中国赛区晋级名额将由全球主办方根据总体报名情况最终确定。

二、报名信息

时间：即日起至6月1日（世界标准时间）

范围：中国（包括港澳台）所有大学

费用：250欧元（约1,968元人民币）

备注：

原则上每一所院校仅允许一支队伍报名（在同一院校不同校区等特殊情形下，主办方有权酌情审查批准）。

2021年全球赛的报名费为750欧元，通过深圳杯晋级的赛队可免交全球赛报名费。

通过深圳杯晋级的赛队将有机会获得全球赛差旅补助（视全球赛举办形式另行确定）。

三、赛制

1. 书状摘要

时间：7月16日前提交（北京时间）

形式：赛队需提交申请人方和被申请人方的书状摘要。书状摘要仅供裁判参考，不计入分数。但逾期或者不予提交者将被酌情扣分。提交方式待主办方后续通知。

注意：晋级全球赛的队伍需要按照全球赛要求提交申请人和被申请人的书状（详情请见全球赛官网https://fdimoot.org/）。

2. 口头庭辩

1）线上积分赛

时间：7月31日至8月1日（北京时间）

形式：每支队伍均需参加4场线上比赛（2场作为申请人，2场作为被申请人）。

晋级：约16支队伍将晋级线下淘汰赛，最终晋级名额将视报名情况调整。

2）线下淘汰赛

时间：8月14日至8月15日（北京时间）

地点：深圳国际仲裁院总部

Registration Notice of FDI Moot Shenzhen 2021

The much-anticipated Foreign Direct Investment Moot Shenzhen (hereinafter “FDI Moot Shenzhen”) is coming! This year, FDI Moot Shenzhen is operating as a full-fledged China National Round of FDI Moot. Teams from China (including Hong Kong SAR., Macao SAR., and Taiwan) are warmly welcomed.

Brief Introduction

Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot (hereinafter “FDI Moot”) is known as one of the three most famous moot court competitions in the world, with Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Debate and Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. FDI Moot consists of the Global Rounds (hereinafter “the Globals”)，the National Rounds and the Regional Rounds, sharing the same case and related materials. Teams should advance to the Globals via the National Rounds or Regional Rounds.

FDI Moot Shenzhen is the China National Round of FDI Moot organized by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (hereinafter “the Organizer” or “SCIA”), with the National Sponsor, Jincheng Tongda & Neal Law Firm (JT&N), and will introduce more sponsors and support institutions. It is the only way for Chinese teams to advance to the Globals, and the advancing quota would be decided by the Global Organizer depending on the number of registered teams.

Registration Information

Time: From now on until 1 June (UTC)

Scope: Teams from China (including Hong Kong SAR., Macao SAR., and Taiwan )

Fee: EUR 250 (about RMB 1,968)

Approach: Via Global official website https://fdimoot.org/china/

Remarks:

In principle, each institution may enter one team (the organizer may at its own discretion review and approve the registration under special circumstances, such as the teams from different campus of the same institution).

The registration fee for the Globals is EUR 750. Teams who advance to the Globals via the FDI Moot Shenzhen could be exempted from paying the registration fee for the Globals.

Advancing teams via the FDI Moot Shenzhen have the chance to win travel allowance to the Globals (depends on the form of the Globals).

Competition System

1. Skeleton Brief

Time: Submission before 16 July (UTC+8)

Form: Teams must submit the skeleton briefs for the Claimant and Respondent, which are only for the arbitrator's reference and will not be marked. Points will be deducted as appropriate for those who are overdue or who refuse to submit the skeleton briefs. Details will be notified by the Organizer.

Note: Teams that advance to the Globals need to submit the memorials of the Claimant and the Respondent in accordance with the schedule (please refer to https://fdimoot.org/).

2. Oral Hearing

1）Online Preliminary Round：

Time: 31 July to 1 August (UTC+8)

Form: Each team may present an oral argument in four online rounds (twice as the Claimant and twice as the Respondent).

Advance: Approximately 16 teams will advance to the in-person Elimination Round, and the final quota will be adjusted according to the number of registered teams.

2）In-person Elimination Round：

Time: 14 to 15 August (UTC+8)
